Mrna Vaccines suck

I was chatting with my sister, she randomly started to go off on me about how the spread of covid 19 is my fault for not getting the pfizer vaccine then blocked me...

It's hard to understand how someone is that ignorant, or why it matters that much that they would let it come between family.

I tried to have a rational scientific discussion about it, but all i got in return was mockery and insults then blocked....

It's pretty sad to see how close minded and absorbed into the media think tank even my own family have become.....

Good thing im in cuba so i can grab a cheap drink or 10......

These vaccinations have become just like every other political discussion. Most people have already chosen a side and there is nothing that you're going to say to change their mind. That isn't exclusive to one side of the discussion by the way.  

You might as well have a beer and find something more productive to talk about.  Like where are all the cheap women hanging out?

Yeah it's sad that this COVID vax issue is becoming a wedge between family members.
Apparently your sis has bought into the narrative, so I doubt you will be able to change her mind.

I've heard the rum in Cuba is legendary, so my advice to you would be to find a beach chair, enjoy a few Mojitos or Cuba Libres with some lovely ladies, and forget about the silly COVID arguments!

I have a close friend that I met up with over the weekend. I've been friends with this guy since I was about 17 years old. We don't usually talk about this kind of stuff.

This guy has always considered himself to be Libertarian minded and for some time he was getting close to Reko conservative.    We got in to a conversation about the vaccinations and he was full blown "if you're not vaccinated by now than you're part of the problem". Not to defend his opinion, but he does have family who have severe medical conditions.

I asked him if he was on board with the mandates and he said that he was. Then I asked if he was on board with mandating children 5 and under to be vaccinated to attend school. He stumbled on that a little. Finally I asked him if he was vaccinated, why does he give a shit if anyone else is.  He decided that was a good time to change the subject.

^^ People with medical conditions would have also been much more prone to death from the flu, but that was never an issue until now!!

True, covid is more contagious, but that only mean the chance to get it is much higher, and vaccinated spread covid frequently, that coupled with the false sense of security of being vaccinated, is the perfect storm for continued outbreaks.

If the vaccines worked, there would be no need to fear and demonize and segragate the unvaccinated, ergo, mrna vaccines don't work.
