So there is a robotics company that is looking for a few people to give up the rights to their face, likeness, and voice for use in future humanoid robots. The linked article says they are willing to pay up to $200k. It could be the narcissist in me, but I think I'm ok with the idea of our future robot overlords looking and sounding like me.  :D

I think the robots should look like Yael Cohen Aris and at that point, I don't care what they sound like.  :lol:

Newsweek reported that as of Monday, it appears that Promobot has stopped accepting applications for the opportunity, and details regarding the project appear to have been removed from their site.

The updated release stated that 20,000 applicants had responded and Promobot's client made the decision to suspend the request.
