I had to create a new account with my other e-mail then post to neurosis in a random thread. Kinda sucked to be honest. I wonder if any others had issues and still trying to get in.

I tried numerous times and kept getting rejected "activation code not valid" before resorting to creating a new account, from which neurosis was able to reset my original account.

Sucked being a newbie if only for a little while. 😂

Before I locked the other forum I created a Board for password reset requests and questions regarding migrating to the new forum. I think that several, though not too many, people just assumed that the forum was locked and closed down.

I've been monitoring it daily in case anyone posts needing help migrating.

That only happens when the forum detects a Cleveland IP address.

I knew well in advance the older forum would close soon, but didn't think anything about it. I had already registered in new forum weeks earlier (you gave me the temp password at that time and I did the activation, then changed password, etc. - was in and everything good).

When I went in the new forum yesterday (first time since prior activation), it didn't accept my password. (I put all my passwords in Google Notes. I used the new password before without any hitch). I had to do the "forgot password" and typed in a new one, but it said "activation code not valid". I imputed username and new password, then tried e-mail address and newer password, tried multiple times and same message back "activation code not valid". There was no way to get back in! And,...

I couldn't contact you. Not allowed for guests. Also, the older forum was closed so couldn't contact you there.

I had to create a new account using a different e-mail address. I doesn't accept the same e-mail address as before "e-mail address already in use".

I made sure that the other forum was open with at least one board that allows posting. I've also been checking messages there daily. 

I probably should have been more clear about that before the move.

I think that were only missing a few people now and I'm glad that it's all sorted out in  your case.
