Here's Johnny!

Just wondering what everyone thinks of the Covid vaccines now ~1 year in.

JParis

I've had 2 and a booster....I don't know if I'll do another...

As I said in another thread, if it were just me, no I would not....but if I don't, my wife won't....and on the chance it offers a "bit" of protection, she is in the position to need it...

As "I don't know" wasn't an available answer, I'll answer here  :)

My wife and I have had 2 vaccines plus the booster
Neither of us as gotten Covid.

However, it's painfully obvious that the vaccines are not nearly as effective as we were told they would be.
At this point the vaccines are no longer a medical procedure. They are a political loyalty test and a tool
to suppress political decent.

People who swore they would never take the "Trump vaccine" would now happily imprison anyone who refuses them
and are just as happily burning our economy and livelihoods to the ground.

I don't think covid will ever be over.
It is something that will have to be dealt with from now on.
It may get better and just become a nuisance like the common cold
It may get worse and wipe the human race off the planet.
There is no way to know.
My wife and I are playing it by ear.
However, as effictive as the first three vaccines have been, I don't see much point in a 4th.

damn no flat earthers?

Have not had the vaccine and do not plan on getting it. At age 36, I am not in the high risk age range and am more worried about the longer term effects of the vaccines than I am of covid. My wife and I have both had it and recovered. I am going to trust my natural immunity at this point.

I feel that it should be a personal choice as everyone's situation is different. Whatever you choose, I support you.
