Shit went to my neighborhood...and I mean Hood market to stock up.

I bought $80 worth of food and supplies and paid $216

Yup, The last few times at the store my wife and I were shocked at some of the prices.

The other one that is making me nervous is used car prices. My two kids at home drive a 2006 Hyundai Tucson with 245,000 miles and a 2006 Prius with 235,000 miles. It won't be long until one dies and we need to replace it. We bought the Tucson with 195,000 miles for $2000. It has been really reliable so we have been watching craigslist for another. The same-ish year with the same-ish miles are asking $3500-4500.

Toyota is the only way to fly, unfortunately they are crazy money.  I'm so lucky my family hasn't needed another vehicle recently.  Something has to change at some point, but I think vehicles will be the last price-wise

We bought our cars at the beginning of the whole covid thing. Got thousands off, zero percent interest with 6 months deferred payments.

We are quoting a new kitchen and it's gotten friggin expensive. Read an article last week that said Sherwin Williams is upping all their prices 12 percent next month. Contractor who I spoke with Monday said his lumber guy told him buy whatever he can now because another jump is coming next month. Cabinets are out 4-6 months. Middle of the road on everything and they are talking $70k. Trying to get the wife to see it's too much. Would rather use the money to retire earlier. Oh and the $70k is with out appliances and fixtures. More like $80k when all is said and done.

I just bought a Quart Can of off the shelf white paint at Sherwin Williams. It was over $30 dollars. That is about 3 times what I would have paid a year ago.
