The docs online who are being silenced are saying that the vax does not work against omicron. It's also very likely that natural immunity doesn't help with omicron either.

QuoteDr Ryan Cole stated that the Moronic is NOT the same strain as the original ones (and their subsequent strains).
He said it is a coronavirus though.

If you're referring to the Sen. Ron Johnson discussion where he said that, IMO, Dr. Cole was not clear in his answer...or did not clearly answer Johnson's question. There was a distinction to be made in his reply to Johnson's question, that I don't believe he understood, or made. That could be a misunderstanding on my end though. I shared the video with a co-worker and when we were talking on Friday, my co-worker agreed with what you're saying. I'll have to go back and watch it again. Maybe I missed it.

From my understanding, Johnson asked that since omicron's symptoms and deadliness (paraphrasing here) are so different from past variants of covid, is it possible that what we're calling omicron is just another "cold bug" (completely unrelated to covid) and not actually a very mutated version of what started out as covid? Cole said that omicron is so far from the original that it's not even close to original recipe covid. IMO, that still didn't clearly answer the question. Has it mutated so far away from it's origins (original recipe) that it no longer resembles what it once was, or is it so different from covid that it's obvious that it was never a mutated variant of covid? That's the distinction that I didn't think he made, or at least not clearly in my mind.

Again, I may have missed something so I'll watch it again.
