Is iMachining really Volumill or is it a different product all together

I can't say that I've ever even seen a demo of Solid Cam. I don't have an opinion of the software.

It seems like their sales tactics are starting to be like the old bobcad days where they would call you 500 times in a month and try to high pressure sales you in to buying their software.  Then, on top of that, he tells a bald faced lie.  Seems like that kind of slander could get him in trouble. Accusing Mastercam of stealing their ideas.   

I don't have a lot of respect for that type of salesman.

At one point NX used Volumill
It looKs like SolidCam developed IMachining and licenses it to NX
I don't know if NX still uses Volumill

I am likely wrong, but I seem to remember seeing a Cimco HSM Performance Pack all the way back in Mcam V9.1 that had dynamic like paths.

I had that and the Moldplus add on back in the V9 days.
