A lot depends on the kind of retirement you want. If you want adventure and travel you better have a lot put back. I'm content living the same lifestyle I always have. We put up a nice above ground pool and I enjoy gardening and working in the yard. Just not working everyday and leaving all the stress behind brings me fulfillment. Everyone is different.
