Boeing BAC5114 - Who's certified and how much of a pain in the -a- is it?

We just had a Boeing buyer talk to us about getting BAC5114 certified but looking through the BAC, it looks like a gigantic pain.

Is anyone dealing with this? I assume this has landed in larger shops and is about to start trickling down to sub-tier shops?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.
