For the past 6 months I have put exactly $100 in my truck every time I get gas. My truck has a 36 gallon tank and the local gas station I go to caps pay at the pump to $100 without having to swipe twice.

Since gas prices have started going up I only drive the truck to work a few days a week. On the other days and most other times, like going to BJJ, I have been driving our Prius. Truck = 14MPG, Prius = 42MPG. Saves a few bucks every time I drive the Prius, especially to the gym which is 25 to 43 miles from house depending on which location I go to.

My wife's ride go wrecked by a hit and run driver and was in the body shop for 3 weeks
We rented a little Honda SUV.
It had a 130 hp 1.5 liter 4 cylinder in it and was dog slow.
It got amazing gas mileage though  and I was starting to like it till I had to merge onto an 80 mph freeway
with 3 lanes of big rigs bearing down on me.
