$91 to fill up my car the other night with 17 gallons of 91 octane ethanol free. It's running $.20-.30 cheaper than premium.

$33 just to fill the 6 gallon can for my fuckin lawn mower. :realmad:

33 gallon tank is getting painful.

I used to drive a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Extended Cab Long Bed with a 496ci in it. I bought the truck to tow my Jeep.  That thing got 4mpg in town and 12mpg on the freeway.  I can't remember for sure, but I think that  thing had a 36 gallon tank.  I would probably have to take out a second mortgage if I still had that truck.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

We just got back from a trip to eastern TN to do some work on the in-laws house. Gas prices ranged from $4.50ish to $5.50ish with the most expensive being in the Chicago area. We made sure to time our stops to fill up before hitting Illinois and made to So Indiana before filling up again.

I find it sadly amusing that Biden hints a possible "gas tax holiday"...and on the day he made that hint, prices went up 15 cents/gallon.

I put a $100 worth of gas in my truck and 5 gallon gas can and it didn't fill either one.

Biden is so dumb.  If he cancels the 18 cent tax on gas for 3 months it doesn't help anyone.

BUT it creates a huge shortage of road funds that will then require borrowing more money to continue road work. That increases inflation.

How the fuck did this moron win.

Actually it will make this problem worse. Having a tax holiday does nothing to address the problem, lack of supply. So lets say both state & fed taxes are put on hold. And say on average that drops the price of fuel by 50 cents/gallon, a decent price cut. People are going to see a price cut & they will run out & buy more fuel, further straining the supply. Prices will go up. End of 3 months, price will jump up 50 cents again. This is how we will see the nationwide average of $6.00/gallon.
