Elon Musk is talking about the importance of doing exactly what he's talking about. Although Elan is also a supporter of nuclear energy.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

My Bad sorry Surface if I offended. Didn't mean to be Harsh on ya. :-*

Lets just take Cali. Peak usage is when it is hot out. Ya know the sun and air conditioners.

They can not save electric at that time as they are already overloaded, Hence Rolling Blackouts.

Solar and wind can be a supplement, But not the main source. It just is not there.

Nuclear and Fossil are and will remain top providers.....Now

Maybe we will get Hydrogen later.

But again.....How much water does Cali have? They already can't flush their toilets.

and I maybe mistaken but I don't believe Saltwater will work.

Desalination is a possibility, however it comes with drawbacks, one being it uses a lot of :cough:electricity:cough:

Cali has unlimited water with desalination. Can it be desalinated economically...and "green"? Nuclear is the answer to that one. Also a great way to generate hydrogen. Convincing the eco-nazi's of that...good luck.

Yup! Another "drawback" of desalination is they have to dump high salt content waste water back into the ocean. The eco-nazis claim it will kill fish because saltwater fish aren't used to salt...water....
