Very Strange. Has anybody else seen this? Mastercam 2022.
Opened an existing file to adjust chip load on a couple of tools.
The RCTF switch in the operations quit working.
Now it only spits out the base feedrate.

Of course it happens at the worst time....

what kind of toolpath??
not all support RTCF
maybe they dropped support for some toolpaths in 2022 ???
anther thing to look at
If radial engagement is greater than or equal to 50% RTCF should return the baseline feedrate

Jeff

I've never mess with the RCFT. Mainly because we never use Iscar tooling.
I wonder if they are going to implement Sandvik and Dura Mill end mills now that Sandvik has acquired Mastercam?

It is an existing Optirough toolpath, just changed the FPT and RCTF won't take.
I can turn off RCTF, regen, turn it back on and regen, it works.
When I repost with all ops, it fails again.
Might be a corrupt file. only about 500 operations to go thru.... ::)

RCTF (Radial Chip Thinning) is not just for ISCAR, I use it on all roughing.
Destiny ZRC coated Diamondback roughers are amazing with RCTF in aluminum.

If you haven't done so, you should download and install MC2023 Public Beta 3 and test a copy of this file
If it is a bug, you don't want it getting carried over the the next release

True, but the HEM slider is only available if you're using the Iscar chatter-free end mills.
