I love them pan fried. at least 1" thick and exactly 3 minutes per side high heat. take it out and let it rest for 10 minutes.

I actually ate some prime rib a couple weeks ago. I was at a charity event for the MPMA and the only choice was prime rib. It wasn't really even that good. I guess I just don't have the taste for it like I used to.

If prime rib is cooked anything beyond medium rare, I wouldn't like it either.
Once it gets dry and chewy it is ruined IMO.

I think you are right that you lose the taste for something you go without for a long time. 

Doug - ref "long covid"....Have a dig as I had read if your immune is low or lacking in something, it digs into you causing dangerously high levels of iron (= covid and long covid).

^^^This is definitely true.^^^
My Mrs. and I both had post-COVID follow-up visits with our doctors.
Her bloodwork showed that her iron level was off the charts.
Her doc said to wait a couple of weeks, and avoid eating foods that are high in iron until it was stabilized.
Luckily her next blood test two weeks later showed that it came back down to the normal level.

Personally I don't count this or eMastercam as "Social Media". While it may be "social" in nature, the reality is we're here to help people manufacture stuff. That's the core mission. Even if/when we don't always like each other, we like manufacturing more. The political banter is just to kill time until the next cool project comes through.
