I had no idea CNN+ was a thing until today.

They spent $300 million setting it up
After 5 weeks they had 110K subscribers paying $6/month

A change of ownership had a lot to do with the shutdown.
The new owners had not drunk the Kool-Aid and knew a loser when they saw it.

Maybe this is a good sign that at least some libs are putting the Kool-Aid down and starting to realize that what is actually going on in the real world is far different from the fantasy world CNN is trying to sell.

It's more that the new owners want to consolidate services and not spend a billion dollars on a new streaming service. I doubt many libs will actually wake up and see the BS they are spewing. I could have said I was blown away they actually had 150,000 subscribers after 1 month but really not surprised.

On the same note, I cancelled my Netflix subscription yesterday
I opened it in 2005 back when they mailed CD's
Elon Musk recently said that a woke mind virus had made Netflix unwatchable.
That generated a couple of articles listing some on the most egregious crap Netflix has been producing
It was a deluge of lgbt/trans/binary/woke crap.
A woke mind virus was a dead accurate description of Netflix today.
I got to thinking about it and realized I had not sat all the way through a Netflix show in over a year
so I shut it down.

on another front, CNN Airport was shut down recently
I don't travel much, but have strong memories of 6 hour layovers, desperately trying to find
a seat that wasn't subjected to CNN broadcasts cranked up to 11
