Here in our stoopid town we actually had about 10 women out on the street protesting the Supreme Courts decision.

Uhhh it wasn't a decision....It was a draft from one member.

You are protesting a none decision.???

While you were out there protesting, You lost the election. Ohio and Indiana.

This will be fodder till November.

You know as well as well as I do that overturning Roe v Wade was set in stone the day that Amy Barret was sworn in.

neurosis

I've seen more "not your uterus, not your choice" and "my uterus, my business" memes in the last few days than I think I have in the last 10 years.  lol.

I wonder what percentage of women will never be voting republican again?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Roe v Wade was a bad ruling. Because the word "abortion" is not in the Constitution it should have been defined as a tenth Amendment issue.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

I had a friend who was a true blue liberal until Washington State started going crazy. She was a Trump voter in 2016 and 2020. After this she say's that she'll never vote republican again.

So there is at least one.  :D

Maybe she will vote independent then and not claim either side of the isle since they both are terrible.

She actually had friends drop her off of facebook for admitting to voting for Trump. lol.  I saw one lady tell her that she couldn't be friends with someone so immoral.  I'm thinking to myself, she's the same person she was before she voted for Trump  :headscratch:  :weirdo:

That is the problem with our society people quit caring why kind of person people are because of an political party affiliation. I have never claimed either party, but get lumped with republicans since I have an understanding of what hard work and morals means. I am not looking for a free ride and think anyone able to work should. You cannot then I think it is up to those of us who can help them to help them, but should they live better than me sorry I don't think so. Not doing without, but live in $1,000,000 homes driving a Mercedes or BMW with free everything nope. I have plenty of friends that are what society considers disable doing quite well for themselves because they decided to try to do something verses feeling sorry for themselves. I am considered 20% disabled because of injuries I got when I was 19, but have never let that stop me. I know some with a paper cut want to take 6 months off paid.

This whole issue is important to me because my mom refused to have an abortion even after my biologic father tried beating her bad enough to cause it. How many people that could have made a difference in this world are not hear because of abortion was the easy way for either parent to not take responsibility for being stupid? I see some are now being honest and admitting that yes they understand they are killing babies and glad to do it. China enacted the one child policy and abortion is the American equivalent for trying to control the population. This is not stopping abortions all together it is just stating that the individual states need to do their job and make the laws to control this issue not the federal government. People want to make stupid decisions about who they have unprotected sex with then guess what move to the state that allows you that freedom. Want to live in a state that has laws that don't give you that choice then move plain and simple. Protesting is one thing, but going to the judges houses to protest is intimidation tactics plain and simple. Anyone engaging in that should be arrested onsite period.
