QuoteAt least half of President Biden's 22.2 million Twitter followers are bogus, a new audit revealed.

The audit, which was done for the social media giant by software firm SparkToro, found that 49.3% of the president's followers are "fake followers," according to Newsweek.

SparkToro has defined "fake followers" as "accounts that are unreachable and will not see the account's tweets (either because they're spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they're no longer active on Twitter)."

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is currently attempting to buy Twitter, has expressed concern over the growing number of fake accounts and proposed a potential crackdown on the sham accounts.

Wait until the people find out that the majority of followers for most celebs are fake as well.
People use bots for all kinds of things on the internet. Views, likes, follows, subs, etc...

I have been wondering about this Twitter bot/buyout mess. Is this just Elon playing chess trying to get the value of Twitter to come down so he can renegotiate his offer? Or, normally a company could face big issues for false SEC filings, however we know Bidens liberal justice department won't do anything to liberal Twitter for lying about the number of bots. Is this Twitter execs/employees way of tanking the Musk buyout?

I think he figured out that Twitter is a house of cards built on a field of mud once he got proprietary info
on the company and it's userbase. Now he's trying to back out of the deal without getting sued
I heard on NPR this morning that he's must pay $1 billion if he fails to close the deal.
I also think he is shocked at the level of resistance he is facing from Twitter employees.
Much like what Trump faced when he came to DC. The entire establishment worked 24/7 to undermine his agenda.

Or he helps those he is working with maybe $30 Billion with the whole thing and knew going into $1 billion was his part for the billions he was making on the backside. He know Biden sucks for Manufacturing and he needs a strong manufacturing focused administration. The lesser of two evils is bring someone like Trump back into office so he can fulfill he dream of Mars. He makes a few more Billions of the American Taxpaying suckers he has no problem with it. His company needs to put more places out of business not paying their bills so be it.

Quote from: Jeff on May 18, 2022, 06:40 AMWe all need that.

We that understand the importance of having a strong Manufacturing ability in our country that may not get every penny for the shareholders right now get it, but the greedy people who have no clue the important of it could care less. What is on Twitter, Facebook, MSN, Tik-Tok or other things are more important.
