They get lots of practice. What I'm torqued about right now is the Rinos are assisting the Dems in taking away more of our gun rights. They are wrapped by armed people potecting them but they keep lessening our rights to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

The more I read about the delay in response the more I believe the days of "protect and serve" are long gone. Now it's "wait and observe".

I'll leave the gun rights arguments to you guys.  I haven't been able to own a "firearm" in close to 20 years now.  Long story.

I grew up in a drug seller environment.  I've seen people shoot at each other.  Seen people pull guns on each other for no good reason.  IMO, not everyone should be able to own a "gun" firearm.

As ghuns said several years ago - its a good thing that I'm not the one who decides who gets to own a firearm.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I don't think that anyone is actually "pro death".  Its pretty unfortunate that we have to have these arguments?  This is really going to become a problem.

Dems have been the majority vote for how many years?  If it werent for the electoral college we'd never see another republican president again?  That might say something?

Actually the rabid so-called "pro-choicers" are precisely that. They want to be able to legally murder a perfectly viable human being at any moment up to and including moments before birth and some go so far as to publically state they would like the "choice" to murder even after birth... granted those lunatics are few but they are given a voice in the "pro-choice" crowd. There are more of them than you probably realize. You are 100% correct, it will definitely become a problem sadly. All because SCROTUS in the 70's fucked up and legislated from the bench. It ALWAYS should have been a state's rights issue but SCROTUS  thought otherwise with ZERO legal precedent.

Electoral College is in place for 1 main reason; to prevent mob rule. So the masses in Portland, New York, Los Angles, Seattle, Chicago and elsewhere can't tell the good folks in the country how to live their lives. As it should be. Those city dwellers know how other people shoudl live... just ask 'em.

If you actually believe pro choice isn't simply a euphemism for killing baby girls and boys, you have a serious problem with facts and reality.
Millions of others that like to popularize the myth that pro choice is some how a sacred right doesn't make it moral or correct by common belief.

So I was in the grocery store today with some bigass headphones on listening to a podcast.
I heard an announcement over the PA but didn't give it any mind and went about my business.
I get to the end of the aisle, turn the corner, and everybody is frozen like some dystopian fiction movie.
This is going to sound disrespectful but I found it to be very creepy. How? Everyone acting in a collective out of some form of undeserved communal guilt.
Hand in your guns because of what that fuck wood did and cut off your dick to prevent rape. Just an observation on how easy people are heard.

And the fascist son of Fidel Castro to the north is working to disarm the populace. "No need for gun in daily life"..

So, to those that think all judgement should be reserved until the local PD can come up with a proper story, Police were hold up in the hallway WITH ballistic shields a plenty of fire power...while the chief made some highly suspect emergency land line call requesting backup and claiming the opposite.
..
..
all the while officers outside tackled moms and dads.... while kids were getting shot.

This is the line that gets me:

"They need to be outside the building prepared because we don't have firepower right now. It's all pistols."

To me that's something that an anti-gun nut would say at a time like that.

There is surveillance video from inside the school showing police with at least one riot shield, armed with ARs, stacked up in the hall 58 minutes before they finally went in...

BREAKING: Uvalde shooting could have been stopped in 'three minutes': Texas police

QuoteThe head of the Texas State Police Steven C. McCraw spoke to the state's Senate committee on Tuesday, where he heavily condemned the response by police during the Robb Elementary massacre that saw 19 children and two teachers killed. He also said that officers on-scene could have stopped gunman Salvador Ramos's rampage within "three minutes," reports the Associated Press... "There is compelling evidence the law enforcement response to the attack at Robb elementary was an abject failure and antithetical to everything we've learned over the last two decades since the Columbine massacre," he said, adding that "officers had weapons... and body armor. The children had none."

I wanna hear what this cop has to say...

QuoteAnother officer who entered the hallway was Ruben Ruiz of the Uvalde city police. His wife, teacher Eva Mireles, had called him on his cellphone and told him she was bleeding heavily.

"She says she is shot," he told the officers on the scene.

The video from inside the hallway doesn't capture what Ruiz did inside the school. But a DPS official told the Tribune that Ruiz was soon escorted away by other officers on the scene.

BTW, his wife bled to death shortly after calling.

Just how was he "escorted away"? If my wife lay bleeding to death less than 50 feet away, I'd be difficult to "escort away", especially if I'm armed and wearing fuckin body armor.

This is sooooooooooo beyond infuriating...

"If there's kids in there, we need to go in": Officers in Uvalde were ready with guns, shields and tools — but not clear orders

The more info that comes to light, the more this smells fishy. It's beginning to sound like a few higher-ups were paid to slow the response time.

This is why I believe it's all for the anti-gun crowd:
""Yes and they need to be outside of this building prepared," he said. "Because we don't have enough firepower right now. It's all pistol and he has an AR-15. If you can get the SWAT team set up, by the funeral home, OK, we need — yes, I need some more firepower in here because we all have pistols and this guy's got a rifle. So I don't have a radio. I don't have a radio. If somebody can come in —""

They act like the AR-15 has 3 barrels and fires 10,000 rounds per minute.
It's a fucking semi-auto, and only 1 person against a bunch of police with hand guns.
