I'm feeling slightly more settled into my new job,

I've been having a bit of anxiety from all the changes, but I'm keeping it together!!

Also, I'm excited about the new TheeByte release for 2023, Mc2023 has cool new features like collision detection that is going to add the kinematic awareness users have been asking for.

Could be better

A co worker at my wife's office came to work sick all week, then tested positive of Covid on Friday.

Mrs gcode tested positive this morning

I have tested negative so far but I am definitely not firing on all 8 cylinders.
no fever, mild sore throat, mild headache, burning eyes

I emailed HR with the details but no reply yet.
I told HR I will not be in till I get the OK from them.
I'll probably be working from home tomorrow.

Sorry to hear G , just got over it a couple weeks ago , hope it goes away quickly .

as far as how its going , not too bad .
The fuel and food prices are starting to really take a bit of a toll , have not gone out for "fun ' stuff for a while .
I have been trying to reserve all funds for building a property for retirement but its going slow , , water and electric getting installed is proving arduous to say the least .
Time frame for each is a year and the cost has pretty much tripled in the last year so just waiting to get the stuff I cant do done so I can do the stuff I can do , If I can still afford it that is .

Yes, Yes doesn't it seem like the only ones still getting it are Vaxxed?

no offense meant'.

But it seems curious.

Just recovered from Covid here. Woke up one morning feeling like I had a hangover with a sore throat. Thought nothing of it, went to work. By afternoon I was dragging serious ass. Went home, fell asleep, woke with a 102 fever a couple of hours later. Fell back to sleep, woke the next morning feeling pretty good. Went outside to go to work...truck wouldn't start (bad battery). Spent a couple hours fixing that...by the time I was done I was exhausted. Decided to take the test...positive.

4 days of actually being sick, best way to describe is it felt like the flu. 5th day I was drained but OK.

The cough stuck with me for a week or 10 days more. Just now getting my usual energy levels back.

We have actually had this discussion at work. Most of the older people have gotten the vax and covid. The younger guys who have not gotten the vax have not gotten it.

My friends who got vaccinated said the same thing, they all got covid after,

We have one guy in the shop who hasn't been vaxed. He's an older guy. He and one other person are the only two who haven't had it. Everyone else has been vaxed and has had it. Some, more than once.
