Doing the kitchen over. Almost went gas. Instead we went with an induction top. Supposed to be the most efficient. And if my 89 year old dad leaves it on it doesn't stay hot. Also my daughter with her CP doesn't have to worry as much when using it.

Funny how those articles never seem to make any mention of how inadequate the current power grid is to handle a massive change switching to electric appliances and electric cars. I read a report recently that the MISO grid in the upper midwest is expecting going from a net energy surplus currently to a %10-30% deficit over the next 10 years. This is because permits for natural gas, coal, and nuclear power generation are being denied. I fully believe electric/hybrid cars are the future, but it needs to happen at a manageable transition. Prematurely forcing it will cause massive hardship. However I think liberal voters are just too effing stupid to see the big picture and want "feel good" policies from their leaders. Then when when fuel and inflation are through the roof, hitting the poorest the hardest, they fall for the lib media/politician lies shifting blame.
