Is anyone else seeing a resurgence of covid
My wife was out of work for 2 weeks over it.
One girl came to work sick and eventually the whole office had it
The same is happening at my job.
We had a guy come to work in Engineering for 2 days while sick.
Two more guys have tested positive and now we're all working from home again.
It's even worse on the floor. We've probably got a third or more of our people out.
They sent the entire tool crib home sick Friday.
One the bright side, this strain doesn't seem too bad. People are recovering quickly
and no one is getting really sick.
Personally, I felt like crap for about 5 days, but I never ran a fever or tested positive.

The guy that sits next to me was out early last week...he plays hockey and 8 of the people on his team, including himself all got it..

Well, it IS getting closer to the Mid-Terms, so I'm not surprised.

It's just about done running through our shop. I got it about a month ago and infected my wife. We both got relatively mild cases. She had gotten both boosters, I had one booster. Unsurprisingly she had a milder case than I did. I'm hoping that a reformulated booster is available by fall.

I got it from another employee, which he got from his wife. Both vaxed and over it in a couple days. I'm unvaxed and over it in two days, was a fever and tired. weird part is my sense of smell actually improved! I have two days I have to wear a mask and then all clear.

Covid is still raging through my shop like a brush fire
I think we're up to 28 official cases now
I got lucky
My wife had one of her people come to work sick 2 days straight so we both self quarantined
She got a mild case, I felt crummy for a few days but never ran a fever or tested positive.
Just when I was due to go back to the office, they had a guy in Engineering come to work sick for a few days
and they told everybody to say home.
I know at least a dozen people who are sick, but so far, nothing life threatening like in 2020/2021.

Daughter and grandkids are up from VA visiting.

Daughter came home with it from a Nashville bachelorette party. Puking, fever, cough, fatigue, etc.

Two days later both kids had it. 6 month old was just puking anything you fed him for about 12 hours. Fever never got over 100.

2 year old never puked but his fever topped out at 105.4.

Wife got it a couple days after the grandkids. She's just tired and coughing a lot.

I remain covidproof.

Our HR department is no longer sending caught Covid notices.

I think that no one cares anymore now that Covid is just another part of life. I quit reading them 3 to 4 months ago and I would think I'm not the only one. A person nowadays can just call in Covid without a doctor's excuse so I would bet that about half the call-ins are fake.

from everything I've read, people infected by Monkeypox are 99.9% gay males
so Monkeypox don't scare me
