Depends. Most shawarma sandwiches I've had only have meat, pickles, garlic sauce. Some places have that, including any variety of other ingredients...onion, pickled beets, lettuce, and tomato. Lettuce and tomato are raw.

To simply say "it has garlic" is a bit of an understatement.    To top it all off, cold leftovers (if there are any) right out of the fridge are delicious.

By not working with insurance companies he'saving a truck ton of money. He WILL make his profit! However, not dealing with insurance companies makes that a MUCH simpler task.

My primary care doctor said 30% of his overhead is dealing with insurance and all the companies measures for it.

Prescription pick up today...

I take Lisinopril, 20mg....my non-formularly cost is $10/30 day supply....

Rite-Aid $13.37 for a 90/day supply....becasue the generic cost is cheaper than my insurance co-pay, they don't run it through my insurance carrier, instead charging me the lower price. Had they not done this, my cost on this medication would have been $30/90 day supply.

My Chiropractor stopped dealing with insurance for that same reason.
Not only was it turning into a nightmare for him to simply get paid for treating someone, some insurance companies even began to try to dictate what kinds of treatments were covered, and how often.

Back to Mark Cuban...
He is definitely a businessman first.
I think he views the prescription drug arena as a market where he can undercut the competition and still make what he considers to be a good profit.

We'll know for sure he is striking a nerve when big pharma tries to shut him down...
