I have noticed in the past 6 years, the media used to use the term "blue collar worker." You rarely hear it anymore. Now they use the term "uneducated" or "less educated" because many of them now call the republican party home.  It's derogatory in nature. The old connotation was a hard working union laborer trying to make ends-meat, while "the Man" keeps them down.  Now the connotation is, "They don't vote like us because they're not as smart as we are."

this is so true, growing up the democrat party was the working man's party, blue collar. The republicans were all the business owners and the "upper crust"

Bruce....just no....

Politics in music is not something that drives me to like or disklike any particular person/band....there's a whole lot of music that's VERY political, yet it's still great music..just think about how many songs came out of the late 60's/early 70's, very politcal, yet much of it these days is classic.

for me any way, it really is All about the music

There are a lot of things that you can say about Neil Young. He's not a talented musician is definitely not one of them.  :D



Bob Dylan was a great song writer. I don't care for his stuff personally, but not many people can stay relevant as long as he did. Look at how many great bands covered his music.

Artists tend to want to speak on things they know nothing about.

Inflation doesn't effect them at all nor many social issues.
