3d Connexion Space Pilot and Windows 11

A friend just bought a new Dell workstation
It came with Windows 11 and he can't get his old Space Pilot working
He installed the latest greatest driver.
I had him uninstall them and install the last Space Pilot divers (vintage 2017)
I haven't heard if that worked  or not

The driver page at 3D Connexion makes no mention of Windows 11
Anybody out there running 3DC devices on Win11??

the drivers we found in the archives from 2017 appear to be working OK
for an obsolete Space Pilot in Windows 11

Have you messed around with it at all? 

I know that we're going to have to adjust whether we like it or not, but I installed it on one of my goof around PC's at my house and I hated it.  I'll fight it as long as I can unless they make some changes.

The only PC I own that is Win11 compatible is my main workstation and I'm not about to install it on that
My backup workstation and my 2 laptops aren't compatible.

I have not even seen it.

I typically jump right in with software once I've committed to it, then deal with the aftermath as it happens. I try to not stay too comfortable with software because shit is ALWAYS happening with software and I'd spend more time fiddle farting around with "it works in this verson, doesn't work with that version".

There's 3 certainties in life; 1) Death... it happens to EVERYONE. Get over it. 2) Taxes. Even the most well healed can't avoid paying them. Somewhere, somehow, a tax WILL be paid at some point. and finally...3) Software has bugs. The sooner people come to terms with that and deal with it the more effective computer user they become. There's ALWAYS a work around. Does it suck? Yeah. I can either wallow in the suck or embrace the suck. I choose the latter.

We used to have an AE that worked for us. I swear he had EVERY version of Mastercam that was compatible with his OS. He spent SOOOOOOOOO much time bashing the latest versions. He would find a bug, and go back through every version until he found a version that didn't have that bug. Used to annoy the shit out of me. He helped me figure out I'm not management material.

Even when/if that becomes possible,  the person that exits a womb or was born through some artificial neans WILL cease to exist in the physical sense. 100% of the time, every time.

Yes, running W11 with the most recent driver and an old Space Pilot Pro. No issues.

i can't seem to pan and zoom in a PDF on win10 with my little wireless pilot.
