There was a house explosion near Minneapolis a couple weeks ago, an elderly couple were killed. Turns out the guy had just replaced the water heater but forgot to connect the gas line. He turned the gas on and once it found an ignition source...BOOM.

I don't mean to sound unsympathetic, but that didn't look like something that would damage 39 homes.
