For the first time in my adult life I did not watch one second of the Super Bowl, and I didn't miss it a bit.

Actually I just subscribed to American Hockey League TV this weekend as they just kicked off their season on Friday.
They offered all games for free Friday through Monday as a trial for anyone who wanted to check it out first before paying for a subscription.

My team (WBS Penguins) didn't have their first game scheduled until Monday, but I watched two AHL games instead of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Both games involved 4 of our division rivals, so I wanted to check out the competition to see how they look.  

They are only playing a 32 game abbreviated schedule this year, and the subscription for one team, all games is only $34.99 for the whole season.
No brainer right there...

As far as the half-time show, meh. It wasn't offensive and somewhat enjoyable although I found myself wondering where Left-Shark is today.
