anyone running version 9.3? if so is it holding stable for you.
we are experiencing lost license server issues. pretty sure it is our network but want to check with others before I raise a stink.

thanks in advance

gcode

I've run it from home, licensed over a VPN connection with no issues

I run a localhost and no issues.

Did you get the issue sorted?

I am running both local host and a network server license, and both are working fine.

Here's Johnny!

Make sure you install the license server as it is a new version for 9.3, once I updated that no issues.

Thanks for the replies. think it is on our side.
license server 9.3 was installed. worked on our network and VPN for a few days then our servers experienced some kind of issue. multiple sites went down. I am not privy to that issue nor do I know if it is related. 9.3 worked for a day then no license server found. put ticket into IT. crickets. so just doing a little home work from the outside.

thanks again

Don't hesitate to contact CGTech. Their technical support is among the best I have ever experienced. In fact, I would go so far to say it is the best I have ever experienced.

I agree, nothing but great support from them.
unfortunately the IT gods have things locked down so I cannot access the license server (would have to log in as admin). I believe I have the knowledge to solve this.
was admin at several other shops before this gig.

IT lockdowns can be a real PIA, that is for sure :)

Have a customer who has missed a complete version of CAM because IT refused to load it on their systems. Now we have a 8 month prove out process to use the latest version. The Engineering side with CAD side gets their updates with days no issues. Same customer gives more lea way to the outside vendors than their own internal machine shop. Having to use 24 year old 4 Axis equipment against 2-4 year old Full 5 Axis Yasda's and then gets asked why cant you hold the same tolerances, run time and quality. I wish I was making this stuff up and the sad part is I am not.  :-[  :-[  :-[

I had an almost exact experience. Couldn't work out why the customer was getting different post processed results to what I was getting. All the versions seemed the same, until I noticed the *.*.01 difference in version numbers. Then I realised IT had blocked the updates, as it was company policy. It turned out to be a string of paperwork, that went on and on. Four months later, they got the approval to update, though it has to be a manual process, booked in with IT. *Sigh*
