They NEED term limits like the President.  Unfortunately, they are the people who would have to legislate those limits.  Obviously there's no way they will ever vote themselves a limited time on the government teat.  The constituents are way too lazy to research and vote an 80+ year old politician out, and things just stay the same.

It's really discouraging, but I don't know how it will ever change.
