What a coincidence, they're all politicians that want to keep their job!

Well as I predicted this impeachment procedure is doing nothing but creating more divide. Well, Dems, you asked for it. You got it.

Yikes

Wow! Not only does Trump have time to run the country dodge insults while trolling the Dims, he also has time to sneak into the Squad offices and remove panic buttons! He's an incredible human!

No-one insinuated that he was running the country

All the while wearing a white hood and covered in Nazi emblems.
And nobody noticed!
Dude should run for president!

True, running a country requires selling us out to Ukraine and China.

Excellent idea!! I'll send him a DM on Gab!

(House impeachment vote is under way)

It will pass. Then a Senate trial, which will be historic as 1.) no president has ever been convicted and 2.) no president has been convicted post-term of office (Senate trial will begin after JAN. 20, when Trump is no longer the sitting president).

Senate only needs a few GOP senators (I think 12) to go along with the 48 Dem senators. If Trump were convicted, he can no longer run again (which he was planning on for 2024). Rumors abound (NY Times story) McConnell to vote against Trump and sway enough GOP senators to vote against like-wise.

Due process at its finest

At this point, what difference does it make?

A huge difference. Probably will stoke the flames of civil unrest even more. Trump would be severed from the GOP party (McConnell rumored as wanting), as he will no longer be able to run again for office. Huge ramifications..

As Dan said, it would keep him from ever running for public office again.

And Trump may have more problems bigger than that. Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon (a very unpopular move at the time). Joe Biden will not pardon Trump. No sure what this means? Could Trump end up serving prison time??? (I don't know, we should research this)

(I think no. A sitting president cannot be indicted.)

Dan_AKA_ROY23

BREAKING: House vote still under way BUT a majority has already been reached. Trump impeached and now it goes to the Senate for trial.
