Quote from: CNCAppsJames on October 01, 2022, 05:23 PMZillow should only be used as a very basic guideline.

My model of house with less extras (especially no solar) was selling north of $1.05mil. Zillow was "only" showing my house at $1.029-ish IIRC.

Buying my house vs. that house will save the owner at least $5,000/year because of the paid for 10kW solar array. None of that factors into the calculus.

Unless they live with polar bears, like I do, they'll probably owe an extra $200/mo on the electric bill to keep it under 70°F. I would have gone to a 13kW array had I known better. But I digress.

Holy cow, we set ours at 75 anything less feels frigid and artificial

My wife likes it 75° to 80° in the bedroom. I'm running the air conditioner in my pickup down to 25° with no coat if the windshield isn't fogging up.

My wife likes it hot in bed but with cool air. She will have the sheet, a blanket, a quilt, and sometimes another quilt covering her. For me it's usually just the sheet if I can even stand that. She will snuggle up against me which is nice, for about four minutes before I burst into flames.
