I've scanned this topic pretty thoroughly and I'm not seeing anyone defending him. As far as I can tell, he's pretty much universally disliked (at least in here) and nobody I know listens to the guy. Matter of fact, I'd say an awful lot of people forgot all about him and would not know he was even alive save for the absurd jury award against him.

Defining legal terms and their historical purposes does not constitute "defense".

I put the Cuomo, Maddow, Lemon, etc on the same playing field as Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Jesse Waters. Their job is to pretend to be a journalist while riling up their viewers and there is no shortage of them on either side. I mean when you have Don Lemon trying to coerce a NOAA official in to saying that the hurricane frequency and intensity in Florida can be attributed to climate change and the poor guy has to argue with Lemon about it on air, he's lost all credibility.

I can't bring myself to compare that to someone who, while people were threatening to dig up the graves of dead children to prove that Sandy Hook was fake, knowingly continued to push that narrative because it was generating him an estimated $800,000 a day. If there is such a thing as a soul, that man doesn't have one.

I remember pre-Sandy Hook, Alex was almost entertaining. I thought of him as a slightly more crazy version of Jesse Ventura. Once he realized that the more nuts he acted, the more revenue it generated, he turned in to a total shit bag and really ratcheted up his exploitation of the gullibility of people who were nuts enough to do something like dig up the graves of dead children.
