I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

2019 accord hybrid owner. shockingly good car.
It's silly having a gas and electric powertrain. but the electric does complement well.
When Tesla releases the economy version vehicle, legacy auto can kiss it's ass goodbye.

You're on probation.....Don't mess with me. ;D

If I am incorrect...you have my apologies.

I would assume (Ass u Me) out of town to in town driving would increase that rate.

I hang out with these guys so you may have to excuse my Stoopidity....I digress ;)

Over reliance on oil is a national security risk.  The DOD wants more electric and hybrid vehicles.

I was just reading an article about the increased weight of EV's. I wonder if anyone has calculated the increased road damage and collisions between EV and current vehicles. This in my opinion a liberal vision to combat climate change supposedly. As we will find out, we'll not me but younger people, liberals always make things worse than they were.

LoL. This is what corporate nepotism gets you. Confused m'fers that are bad at math and physics. Hydrogen is and efficiency loser before the fuel even gets to a vehicle.

Hydrogen fuel is already being used on ferries in Europe. Boeing and Airbus are researching the possibility of using hydrogen but state it will be in the 2050ish range before they will be ready for commercial flight. Research for storing hydrogen is underway right now.

If it was a viable alternative it would absolutely be in the implementation stage, not the ESG-virtue-signalling 'research' stage out decades.
 prove me wrong

The fact that Toyota is showing their pickup off means sales aren't very far away. Batteries are definitely not going to work out unless they find many more lithium mines.

and they have a hydrogen car model on the road. They are unaffordable to buy and TOYota loses money on every one and the fuel is stupid to buy as a consumer. And that is for the dirty generated hydrogen. the green hydrogen is untouchabl;e on pricing.
why don't you drive toyota's current offering, if you're such a believer?

edit, btw, i'm not buying an EV because they are overpriced atm. Tesla makes 8x more profit per car than Toyota which explains to some degree why the market cap is that much higher
