I've seen some ads online for these new mesh tools by Verisurf, has anyone tried them?
How much does it cost?

Would appreciate any feedback, I'm looking for solutions for cleaning up meshes in Mastercam

I was the product Manager for the Master3DGage over a decade ago. They offer some great tools. Price for the full reverse is reasonably priced and I think is a great odd on to Mastercam. You can do the Free Tools Add On and get a 30 day demo of Reverse as part of it. Remember a mesh is still a loosy goosey attempt as a solid model. They take and convert to surfaces and then from there you try to make a solid. Outliers and other things really come into play. Point Cloud density and number of points collected are also important. They have filtering and other things along with smoothing. Autosurface is great for certain parts. I can take most Geometric STL models that are geometric shapes and reverse them with the Reverse add on with some work. Freeform and abstract shapes can take a lot of work.
