That looks sweet! Especially with the adjustable run-out. Be curious to know if rigidity goes up or down with it.

No experience with that tool, but we do use EPT hydraulic chucks for 1" carbide rougher
doing dynamic roughing in inconel.
They are good tools and we are happy with them

Only 3 screws instead of 4 for indicating the shank in?
I'll pass.
Nice concept though but I'd rather buy hydraulic holders from Mari-Tool they're very inexpensive and excellent quality.

These guys are out of Sweden.
If you buy a Sandvik hydralic holder you are buying one built by ETP
The ones they sell under their own name are a little more robust from what I'm told

I've been using the heavy duty holders in 1.25" 1" and 3/4 for hogging Inconel and monel with good results
I buy them with Capto C8 shanks for our big Okumas and Cat 50 for a couple of our HBM's
They told me to buy 1.25" holders and a 1" collet for 1" carbide roughers as that was stronger
than a 1" holder by itself.
So far they have performed well doing some pretty hard work

I'll be trying some of the Pencil Grip holder soon for holding solid carbide drills
that need to get into some tight spots. I was concerned that they might not be up
to the task but customer support says that is exactly the application they were designed for.
I will report back when I have some results
