Anyone have any experience with fryer machines.

We are looking at the HR-40

If you have experience on them. How do they run?

Thanks

I have heard of them and seen them, but have no experience with them
and I don't think I know anyone who owns one.

I think I heard Fryer was started by someone who left Haas with the opinion they could do it better.

Quote from: Newbeeeeâ„¢ on December 15, 2022, 08:39 AMI would say...the 16" toolroom lathe is made by the same Chinese company that makes the UK's XYZ Prototrak 1630 lathe.
But I can't remember the name now....

In 1981 I bought a new Victor 1640 engine lathe.
It was made in Tiawan, and it was a tank.
It served me well for 20 years until I sold my interest in the shop and moved on.

The manuals that came with my Victor 1640 were rudimentary, published in Chinglish.
About 15 years in the brake quit working, the band around the brake drum had worn through
I dug out the manual looking for guidance and a part number
The manual said, "Remove the broke band" .. no shit !!!
