Am I the only one to consider The Family Man as a Christmas movie?

It's a Wonderful Life is probably my favorite Christmas classic.

I also like the Patrick Stewart version of A Christmas Carol, and of course, Ralphie and the gang in A Christmas Story is also a must see every year!

I remember watching it as a teenager in the 80's.  I've tried to watch it as an adult and I just don't care for it. I'd rather watch Bad Santa.

I think the appeal is that many people my age can relate to Ralphie and his family.

I absolutely remember getting a BB-gun for Christmas when I was about Ralphie's age.
And just like Ralphie, my Mom was opposed to the idea, but my Dad thought it was a great Christmas gift!

I have never watched it all the way through, just bits and pieces.

A Christmas Story.

I go to my mom's house Christmans morning early before everyone gets there and plop my ass on the couch and turn that movie on. Watch it all day long, then when I get home I keep watching it.

I, too, have a sense of humor. Like JP, it's sometimes a little scary.

That's what happens when you spend your youth listening to Firesign Theater albums while experiencing an altered state.

Example: One their albums that I owned was called Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me The Pliers.

I don't recall them having a Christmas album.
