Quote from: Matthew Hajicek on January 09, 2023, 03:58 PMMaybe you're blind.  There was a guy directly in the line of fire, sitting alone in the far corner of the room.  Draw a line from the defender, through the crook, across the room, there's the guy who's lucky to be alive.

Was that the guy he robbed first??

Quote from: Incogneeto on January 09, 2023, 03:52 PMNope you just have to be the one walking out alive.

I can splain later.

If you're happy being alive in prison, then yes, that'll be enough.  If you want to be alive and free, then make sure you have a clear line of fire, and stop shooting when the threat ends.

At the very start of this video, yes, by the juke box:

So you have made my point He saved Multiple people. Not himself and the multiple people will testify they were threatened.'

Good luck.

Did you see the people on the floor?

The guy on the floor by the door.

He ain't gettin 3 hots and a cot.

And I will take an appeal over a funeral any day.

Not at all.  He almost killed an innocent bystander.  That's why the guy in the corner is lucky to be alive.

As it unfolds, the case is going to a grand jury; we'll have to see what they say.  He'd have a much easier time of it if he'd stopped shooting when the threat ended.

Quote from: Matthew Hajicek on January 09, 2023, 01:57 PM... so you attack my credibility.
In firearms and defense related issues, often, you pretty much have no credibility to attack so there's that.

You continue to make assumptions about what was justified and what was not justified... from the the shooters eyes.

I'll say it again, you don't know what HE SAW. What you saw in the video doesn't mean shit. Even the highest definition HD CCTV video framerate is only good enough for a basic (read not difinitive) perspective/viewpoint.

The shooter gets the benefit of the doubt, you, not so much. He behaved as thought he saw a continued threat. So unless the shooter was wearing a body cam and you have access to that video which could provide you with the clarity you apparently need... you opinion doesn't mean anything. So go ahead, post up all the USCCA videos you want. It changes nothing.

You did not see what he saw. NONE of us did.

That's ONE axis FFS, There's 5 others to contend with, and that big ass red line... what does that represent? A 20mm handgun round?

Keep digging.

If you think that's a safe line of fire, I don't want to be anywhere near you at the range...

Maybe you shouldn't be machining either, since you don't understand axis'.  The only degree of freedom not constrained by the image is towards the camera and away, and those can be easily deduced within a small degree of error by perspective.

But you go ahead and keep grasping at straws to defend your hero.

P.S.

I'm still waiting on that citation of the "he needed killin'" law.

It's so awesome we have someone with such amazing clearity of thought and all the answers with all permutations covered with legal analysis and court precidence.
Too bad you'd be long dead in such a circumstance.
Fucktards torturing the facts like you do is what's wrong with our leaders and legal system. It's honestly it seems kinda despicable to judge someone with such one sided "legal clarity"while under deadly threat.
