Interesting thoughts. This would lend credence as to why China cooked up the virus and unleashed it on the world. Also as to why the Dems, Establishment R's and their big globalist business handlers are selling out America for the benefit of China. If China collapses the majority of billionaires stand to lose untold amounts of wealth.

They've stolen (or we've given them) enough tech for them to bury us. They have all the mineral rights they need to pretty much crush the EV market in China proper and in their mines on the african continent.

They aren't worried about squat. They could assimilate Taiwan and we'd be done. That quick. It will take us 10 years minimum to get Semi-Conductor where we need it, and that's IF we can get the man-power and infrastructure (water, power, land, etc...) needs squared away tomorrow.

I watched a decent chunk o fit. He can claim all he wants, our engineers from Loral taught them about missile guidance and now they can launch ICBM's at us... thanks to that shitbag William Jefferson Clinton but I digress.

 I contend they are just smart enough to maintain the status quo, which IS enough. They have zero innovation but they don't need it because their IP theft game is on point.

We've been destroying ourselves since LONG before the CCP turned their "scientists" on us. Hell, even our own CIA got the LSD ball rolling faster with project #MKUltra. 

Not really innovating IMHO. Let's be honest though, Fentanyl isn't really taking our best and brightest out  now. They are feeding an addiction problem, just like the columbian cartels, just like the taliban, just like Mexican cartels. Nothing innovative about that. Every single technical innovation they may claim to was birthed here or in other nations. It wasn't homegrown.

I don't really have much sympathy for addicts. I have sympathy for their families and their victims. They didn't have a choice in the matter. But the addicts/users made a choice. Even the ones that got started on prescription drugs for pain management. They still made choices.

Being a recovering addict myself (clean 35+ years) and having been in their shoes... the shoes where choices are made, if anything, China is just behaving like an opportunistic criminal. Similar to a looter in a natural disaster or riot situation. Nothing really groundbreaking or innovative about that.

yes.. for 3 generations China had a 1 child only policy AND gender selective abortions

the result was 3 generations of girls were never born.

Today the ratio of breeding age females to males is about 1 to 20 and the population is not breeding fast enough
to sustain itself.

Rich Chinese are buying brides from South East Asia but this comes with the stigma of racial purity which is a big thing in China.

Poor Chinese men are doomed as far as marrying and having a family, because there are no females for them to marry.

All this is the aftermath of the early end of the world crap they were preaching when I was in college in the early 70's. They're still preaching the same crap today, just a different tune.
