I've been wearing some cheap shitty shoes to work for a while now and it's been taking a toll on my feet.

I don't care for boots because they are uncomfortable to walk around in and I do a LOT of walking around our shop during the day.

Any recommendations for a comfortable work shoe that is comfortable and durable?

WHen I was on the floor...I always, always, always invested in good shoes for my feet....the military taught me what bad shoes do tyo your feet...

That said, Timberlane or Red Wing Boots....I was always north of $100/pair.....for as long as I have been off the floor, I'm thinking thy're likely $200'ish now and I still wouldn't hesitate.

A mat by the machines makes a YUGE difference as well

I'm in the same problem. I'm wearing ten year old American made Red Wing shoes that are warn out but they are no longer made.

The last two pairs of work boots I have worn are Keen Milwaukee. Our shop gets super humid in the winter and the floor gets very slick. These boots have great traction. The other big seller for me is they breathe in the summer. My feet don't sweat. As far as comfort, they are decent as far as work boots go.

Anything made by KEEN is my goto. Just keep an eye on the shoestring eyelet/loops. Some are made of fabric and start getting cut by the string immediately, those are junk IMO and stay away from those.

I've been wearing Wolverine Men's Raiders ( Oxford) for a couple of years
I tried a similar pair of Timberlines, but the Wolverine's are a superior shoe.

Bought a pair of Keen hiking shoes when I found Samson the German Shepard.
We walked about 1.5 miles/day 5 days a week. Samson outlived the shoes by a year.
They started splitting on the sides adjacent to my toe joints and had to be replaced.

I had chunks of the soles come loose on a brand new pair of Keens after a day of leisurely hiking at Joshua Tree. Emailed them pics, they next day aired me a new pair.

I don't spend a lot of time standing in front of a machine thankfully.

Just since I started this morning I've already logged a mile and a half of walking and 7 flights of stairs and I'm only 3 hours in on a 10 hour shift. That's why I'm looking for more of a work shoe than a boot.

Mats in front of machines definitely help for the feet and back if they are good ones.  :htu:

What store did you get the Wolverine Oxford shoes from?

I have a pair of Keens hiking boots and they are great.

Looking through some of the redwing shoes, it looks like you can't buy them online.

I have been wearing Merrell's for years. The one I wear is called the Moab.

Based on my experience Keen work boots and hiking boots I wouldn't have any reservations trying their work shoes.
