1 @ 17 Years (current job)
2 @ 3 Years each (1st job and 12th job)
2 @ 2 Years each (10th and 11th jobs)

5 jobs take 27 years of my career
9 jobs take up the remaining 3 years. That was a ROUGH ride. My poor wife.... I've pur her though some shit with all those job changes early on. We were just talking about it last night.

The problem you had.. and probably still have, is a complete lack of the ability to tolerate fools

Relying on my good looks and humility only gets one so far.

but seriously, that Tom B. gentleman apparently took me WAY too literally, and i'm surprised that was the straw. Don't remember what it was but I know i said something flippant clumsy attempt at rapport.

To be fair I have been in this trade since 1979. Been through a number of layoffs and a couple of closings.

I tell people all the time ignore my first response because it's usually going to be something sarcastic. 😁

Had a boss come up one time and ask when the part I was working on would be done. I told oh I don't know. Probably after the last cut. 🤣
