SpaceX is delivering what NASA promised us as kids back in the 70's.

Proof that government needs to GTFO of the way for the most part.

NASA preaches safety yet we've got 2 vehicles and 14 bodies since the 80's that say otherwise. It's one thing to lose people and vehicles because of something you didn't think of, afterall, we'r eonyl human, it's entirely another to disregard KNOWN problems. :cough: who would have thought rubber o-rings wouldn't perform as designed in freezing temperatures :cough :cough: oh those falling pieces of ice that have been damaging tiles... yeah, it's no problem :cough:

I worked at a place that did some mold work for thiokol and other shuttle parts. Exit cone, as I remember.
