Mastercam ALWAYS bones windows file explorer

not to skirt my error and blame Mastercam..but im totally blaming mastercam. Anytime an uninstall doesn't go perfectly explorer gets boned. Super slow and hangs.
 any I ideas what i'm doing wrong?

What is happening to File Explorer?

Alternatively, there is a free program on the Microsoft app store called Files that is a replacement to File Explorer. It's supposed to be really good but I haven't tried it myself.

Windows explorer runs under one process by default,
if you want you can launch each explorer instance as a separate process, that can keep one crash from bringing the whole thing down,

In the start menu search File Explorer Options,
In the View Tab, Select Launch Folder Windows in a separate process,
if the problem persists, you can try running System File Checker,
3rd party add-ons such as 7-zip can also be the culprit
