I wasn't thrilled with that phantom holding call at the end of the game, but refs gonna ref, and half of the fans are gonna disagree with every close call
....
Depending on the camera angle you look at he was holding, or he wasn't.

I had ZERO skin in the game. That said, you NEVER want the game to be so close that a call/non-call either decides the game or allows you to be in a situation you can't dig yourself out of. Weather that is getting outcoached or outplayed is for the pundits to decide. Not an NFL fan. The kids turned it on and I was in the room so I watched a few plays when I took a break from reading.

The Eggles had all kinds of opportunities to put that game away and they didn't or couldn't. That's kinda on them, no?

Oh no doubt.
KC flipped the script on them and they didn't react.
That was the superior coaching edge that Andy Reid brought to the table.

Aaaaaand, the dominating Eagles D never fully showed up.

But I thought the real back breaker was when the Eagles Special Teams fell asleep on that punt return.
To me that one play was the turning point of the game.

The controversial holding call near the end was just the final nail in their coffin that they could have avoided but didn't.

I know lots of fans are still raging over that call, but if the Eagles took care of their business like they should have, that call wouldn't have mattered.

Not anymore. We had our run. I'll never see another like it.

Now we hear there is backlash because of the Chiefs Super Bowl parade and celebration in the city.
Apparently a few of the lads had a few beers and were enjoying their moment in the sun with their fans and their city.

Last time I checked, every player on the Chiefs roster was a grown-ass man.

Super Bowls are hard to win, so let them celebrate!!

I know, it's probably a small minority who complained.
Some ppl just need to lighetn up... :foreheadslap:

I wouldn't really call it a backlash but I've seen a few letters to the editor about the drinking, being role models, etc, same as in 2020.

As Bill Self says, those championships don't grow on trees so yeah, enjoy them when you have a chance.

Even the role models get to be human and have fun.
