The members list used to be a lot easier to navigate. When they updated the forum they made pretty much everything more difficult and/or less functional.

I've had I think 3 accounts. I don't recall the reasoning behind my 1st departure. The 2nd Departure I remember very well. Frigging Daniell handed me a suspension because someone was asking about "online" training amd I referred them to Streaming Teacher and  eApprentice I believe. I was completely unaware of IHS's offerings at the time so they suspended me and I told Danielle to pound sand and delete my account. I'd committed FAR more egregious sins than that without so much as a warning. To suspend me for that was completely chicken shit.

I had the screenshots to prove every word I am saying. I captured them because I knew nobody would believe me. I think I stayed away for 2 full years. I came back because I was asked by a number of customers so I relented.

My current accounts dates to May of 2003 - so 20 years
Pretty sure I had at least one other account before that - either forgot the password or I offended the wrong people. Both are common occurrences still.

But the sex was good until they figured out how to use a measuring tape.

I was thinking a PM letting me know they offer such a thing then I could go back edit my comment or add the comment all together. Yeah, no warning just a suspension. And he was a dick about it too.

I joined in Nov 2005, so 18 years. I was having a hard time transitioning from v9 to the x interface. Advise from some of the other members was invaluable, not to mention reading other posts. It made me a better programmer
