I guess, I don't feel like it is censorship to put a pg13 rating on a book. I've not heard republicans advocate for keeping books from being published. they are advocating for not allowing young children to being exposed to material too young. Is that censorship? It sounds reasonable, to me. I'm surprised there is not bi-partisan support for that.

Yesterday, Ron Desantis had a press conference displaying the books that he wanted removed from grade school libraries. Local TV stations blacked out during the display of those books to keep from being fined by the FCC. What does that say about those books. But again, if someone wants to write those books and someone wants to publish them, the 1st ammendment gives them the right to do so.

Or CNN or MSNBC. I swear, every time I try to watch some news, no matter which of those 3 I try, it's always someone ranting about something only a few people care about. The only exceptions seem to be disaster or war.

I probably would never look at them except they're in between Food Network and ESPN in my channel guide.
