College basketball has changed so much with the NIL and transfer portal. Getting tired of having a new team every year at Kentucky. If they play the same pattern next year as the last 5, I'll rarely follow them anymore.

Didn't change things that much for your team. Calipari was an early adopter of the 1 and dones.

Honestly, I haven't paid much attention to college basketball in the last couple of years. Jerome Tang at K-State got my interest up again. I just hope he can continue. I was all excited about Isaac Brown at Wichita State after his incredible first season and then it just went downhill. WSU's new coach was an assistant at Baylor with Jerome Tang. Several of Scott Drew's assistant's have gone on to successful head coaching careers.

I grew up getting my ass handed to me in pickup games by Scott's little sister, Dana.

Anytime she'd show up, I'd have to guard her cause we were both about 5 foot nuthin. Later when I grew to 6', and she shot up to 5'-3", she still kicked my ass.

Kentucky is the most difficult place to coach basketball. We aren't even the best SEC team anymore. Can't beat anyone that's any good. Fans have been very sour on Calipari. He's a good man and does a great job getting good kids but every year lately it seems our offense is totally lost and I just don't understand it.  I miss the old days in the 90's with full court pressure and a free flowing offense.

I can't think of one single Calipari assistant who has succeeded as a head coach.  Not one.

He's a great recruiter and evaluator of talent. I don't think he's ever been a great coach.

Maybe the game has adapted to his style of play and that's all he has.

I like watching FGC set all the screens to get open shots. They have set more screens this game than Kentucky did all year. Hope they hold on and win.

Congrats to UConn for winning their 5th NCAA Championship. 

When you play defense THAT good, you can beat anybody. 


Congrats also to SDSU for a great run this year. 
Unfortunately they ran into a brick wall that was UConn's D and they just couldn't break it down.
