My mom is about 80 years old. If she's still laying it up at that age I'm not mad. I'm impressed.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Experience is always a factor. LOL!!!

Nope, ModuleWorks.

MW gives SW Developers all the tools they need. How they Dev guys implement the various tools is up to them. The other factor, I believe AD is trying to keep the paths as easy as possible to use meaning there's a chance the controls needed to solve this problem lie under the hood instead of out in the open. Not a slight on AD at all. A lot of people knock Fusion360, but it's legitimate software and if they ever make it ITAR compliant, the standalone CAD/CAM world will have a new serious competitor to contend with. One that is a full blown assembly modeler with kinematicsnand the works.

Back in the "DUCT" days of Delcam, the 5ax paths were noted as word leading.
And they (Delcam) had a lot of SW engineers working on it before AD bought it.

Delcam were their own paths - yes?
So have they (AD) dumped them for MW because of ongoing new features and support - as they sacked all the SW engineers so cannot further develop "old Delcam", so have gone a new (MW) way?

Yeah that's a significant bummer - I was hoping somehow those Delcam paths would make their way out into the Mastercam world - although maybe this is a chance to grab those engineers...   I had the chance to do some robot programming with Delcam and at the risk of sounding like he-who-should-not-be-named the graphical 5ax editing was really nice to use.

I think PowerMill's blade stuff is easier and more intuitive that MW's... if Sandvik has the chance to snatch those developers up... they ought to.
