They need to make this no-till. If you stop constantly disrupting the microbiota of the soil by turning it over you don't need all the fertilizer.

I also think that AI and robotics could be leveraged to allow more cover crops to be used in lieu of all the pesticides.

However, Big AG makes too much money on their Bill Gates approved, bio-engineered, GMO seeds and special fertilizers/pesticides. Greedy corps are going to be the ruin of the earth.
