I had a bump on my lip in my mustache area that turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. I had it removed last year. In order to numb me up, the doc had to grab onto my lip with one hand. He said "I'm gonna stick my finger in your mouth, but if you tell anyone, I'll deny it."  :lol:

The last time they had changed the medication to something else that wore off really quickly and you were back to normal a couple hours so the experience now might be very different than it was 10 or more years ago.

Sedation for me is the same. Usually after the procedure I immediately go for food. Could probably even go to work after but I usually take it as a nice relaxing day and maybe if I can take a nap.
