I saw a 2021 corvette available from MSP for $190/day. I didn't look at the contract fine print but what is stopping me from renting it for a day or two and completely annihilating $1200 in rear tires?

I'd prefer the RS7. I mean, it only goes 190MPH, but you can haul three friends and their golf bags while doing it.

or at the very least an AMEX Black card on record as security.

Yeah but how can they prove it? Are they going to do a full inspection in-between renters? Do you get a report of tire wear and engine/trans/clutch/etc wear?

Even worse, you rent the car and it breaks down because of the abuse from previous renters and they try to charge you for a new $35k engine/etc. I have a lot of questions about Turo.

I saw a guy on YouTube who rents exotic cars. His inspections are crazy detailed.

He rented a Vette to some guy and the car came back with 4 bald tires. He had tread depth measurements from when the car went out and close up pics of each tire/wheel. Reviewing the pics, he discover the wheels weren't the same ones the car left on.

Turned out the renter had a similar Vette and needed new tires.

two things.

One it is just for fun to impress. and get a kick out of it.

Two I would neither like to park nor drive more than a few minutes in Vegas.

I would be more scared of parking it in the enclosed Luxor parking garage.

and would be in my room constantly waiting for the call it had been hit.

Three if I rented This Bad Ass I have heard Smit may be in The approximate area at The approximate Time .

So If it got Keyed.?

Leave Vegas south on I-15. Behave, lots-o-cops. Get off on Cima road, go like hell. Take a right on Kelso-Cima Road, go like hell. Take a left on Kelbaker go like hell. Hang a right on Rt66. U turn at Amboy, do it again.
